How to Measure

Follow these simple steps before choosing your jacket size. For more accurate results, ask someone else to help you measure.

1

Shoulder Width

Measure across the back from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other. Keep the tape straight and do not pull it too tight.

2

Body Chest

Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest and back. Keep the tape level and parallel to the floor.

3

Sleeve Length

Measure from the top of your shoulder down to your wrist bone. Keep your arm slightly bent for a more natural sleeve length.

4

Sleeve Length

Measure from the highest point of your shoulder down to where you want the jacket to end. Different jacket styles may sit at different lengths.

5

Sleeve Length

Measure around the natural waist area while keeping the tape comfortable. Do not hold the tape too tight.

6

Sleeve Length

Decide how you want the jacket to feel. Choose a closer fit for a sharper look, regular fit for daily wear, or extra room if you plan to layer underneath.

FREQUENTLY ASKED Questions

How do I choose the right jacket size?
Start with the size chart, then compare your chest, shoulder, sleeve, and length measurements. If you are between sizes, contact JacketsX support before ordering.
What is the difference between body chest and jacket chest?
Body chest is your actual chest measurement. Jacket chest is the garment measurement and usually includes extra room so the jacket can be worn comfortably.
Should I size up for layering?
If you plan to wear a hoodie, sweater, or thicker layer under your jacket, a roomier fit may be more comfortable.
Can I request custom sizing?
Yes. JacketsX offers custom sizing on selected orders. Share your body measurements, fit preference, and product link so our team can review your request.
What measurements do I need for custom sizing?
For custom sizing, share height, weight, chest, shoulder, sleeve length, waist, jacket length, and fit preference.
How should I measure sleeve length?
Measure from the top of your shoulder down to your wrist bone while keeping your arm slightly bent.
What should I do if I am between sizes?
Contact JacketsX support with your measurements and the product link. Our team can help you decide whether a standard size or custom sizing is a better option.
Are all jacket styles measured the same way?
The basic body measurements are similar, but different jacket styles can fit differently. Leather jackets, bomber jackets, varsity jackets, denim jackets, puffer jackets, and shearling jackets may each have a different structure and feel.
Can I change my size after placing an order?
Size changes depend on the order status and production stage. Contact JacketsX support as soon as possible if you need to request a change.
Do I need help measuring?
If possible, ask someone else to help you measure. This gives a more accurate shoulder, chest, sleeve, and jacket length reading.
